Because of the overwhelming generosity of our donors-combined with favorable construction costs not only will we be able to include the items below;
Slide, Play Structure, Additional Play Features, Shade Structures, Picnic Pavilion
But include additional upgrades to the bathouse, concessions, chairs, fencing, picnic tables, starting blocks and more!
In addition, some of our generous donors have committed to moving a portion of their gift to a dedicated
Aquatic Center Maintenence Fund
"Ensuring our pool stays safe and viable for generations to come."
We are so grateful to all of you for making this possible.💗

We also need your help to staff
Our New Platteville Public Pool!
From attendants, to lifeguards and managers, we need you! Most of the folks who work for the pool are ages 8th grade through late high school/college but we are trying to recruit experienced adult managers as well. This was a common model in the past in our community and has been shown to reduce the strain on young employees, city staff, and the public/community. If you are a teacher or someone who has off/time in the summer and experience with managing young folks, parents, etc. please consider this opportunity, and feel free to reach out to us with questions.
All of our staff, volunteers etc. make a huge difference in making our community better for everyone. 💞.
🧢 Attendants – 8th grade and up
🛟 Lifeguards – 15 and up (with certification that is most likely repaid: training/cerfication schedule forthcoming)
🏊 Managers – Adults and Experienced/Mature staff
The Pool is for EVERYONE!

We are super thrilled to be working with local metal artist, Bart Conklin, a UW-Platteville graduate, to create our donor recognition wall for the new pool!
You may have noticed that our donor level representations have shifted a bit to match Bart's vision of creating a "Kelp Forest of Generosity" while still keeping true to our aquatic theme.
And as promised all donors regardless of amount, will be recognized on a kiosk.
We truly appreciate all of the folks that have come together to make this pool truly special for everyone!
